Hi Guys,

If you have an issue on your account, could you please set up a new thread as opposed to posting on a current one. That way all correspondence in the thread is easier to track. Also please do not DM me with a query unless you have set up a thread first and I have requested the info from you.

    Hi

    I opted in for the new €20 deal for free meteor talk and any network text. I topped up and got the confirmation text and called a few 085 people and yesterday evening it said I didn't have enough credit to make the call even though I'm supposed to have it free. I had €10 credit and afterward I had none?

    Hi Ciaran,

    With your plan there is a fair usage allowance. When this is exceeded you are charged for the call. The fair usage amount for a call to a Meteor number is 59 minutes. As you were on a call for 62 minutes you were charged for the call and this affected your plan.

    I have had to escalate this onto an agent in our technical team to be investigated. It may take between 24 to 48 hours for this to be resolved.

    I'm afraid not but if you are within Europe Zone 1 you will be able to contact others making calls and texts for standard rates and receive calls and texts for free.

    On Saturday I lost my phone so on Sunday I came online and ordered a new Bill phone. I couldnt upload the necessary details on the day so yesterday I emailed them yo meteor. I have still not had a reply and I would like to know how my request is going as I am still phoneless. I would really appreciate it if you could help,

    Hi,

    I've been trying to contact Meteor all morning to make a payment on a bill. When i get through to the automated payment service, the service just ends the call. I've tried holding on to speak to someone, but after a long while, the call just drops. I can't contact any online help either. My service has been suspended and i need to resolve this matter urgently.

    Is there a decent costumer service number i  can call? 

    Terrible service, I was on hold at 01 4307085

    for 28 minutes and then hung up on!

    Shame on you Meteor, im goin back to  Vodafone..this is ridiculas, Shamefull

    COme on, answer the phone...im calling from Austrlalia (youve havent given any overseas number..)

    Ive cancelled my accoutn with u after christmas, and your still taking money form my account

    And now, u wont even answer the phone, and im hold for almost 30 min already - listenign to that **bleep**e music u play while im waiting, and then hung up on.

    Not good enough. 

    Is there an email that someone might reply to?

    Dissapointed.

    The customer care numbers aren't working absolutely ridiculous one redirects you to the other and then the other tells you it's not in service! Get your act together really I've been with you along time and it's the 1st time I've started to feel disappointed with my service

    Hello,

    is there any chance to have some help in unlocking a phone?
    I have been your customer for 6 years now, and I am staying that way :D 
    but I bought a new phone for me, and I'd like to give my old sony experia E to a friend who travels as well and every now and then will need to change Sim card.

    I have the imei code, sadly due to silly shift I cannot seem to be able to contact via phone or webchat, as they are all super busy.

    Can you help?

    Problem cancelling Billpay account after 5 years. M refusing new provider to take over account.

    I am posting this problem on this thread to ensure a reply as I have had no reply to my previous posting on a separate thread.

    I notified Meteor in January that we wished to cancel our bill pay account after 5 years as we had no upgrade entitlement and our package appeared to be rather costly. Got a follow-up survey to fill in which we did. Looked around and found new package (June) with another provider, but Meteor refused access to new provider as 'details are incorrect'. Have checked them again and again (they are correct). Rang several times using the numbers listed on your website, rang again, promised returning calls; sent faxes, no replies or calls. I have phoned phone lines and been left hanging (recorded the last few). When I got through to someone again on Thursday (Damian)was told that my account has been left 'open' from the last person to whom I had spoken earlier in the day (Ciara) and as a result the account could not be accessed. Promised another call to sort it out (Damian) and still no sign. Waited all day Friday to be fair as it needed investigation, but still no sign of a follow-up call.
    I am rather disappointed at this service. SOMEONE NEEDS TO SORT THIS OUT IN METEOR. You have my phone number in my details.
    I await a reply as soon as possible. I would like my problem to be "escalated" as your service thus far has been dreadful and I now seek a resolution.. I am also giving notice that I shall be cancelling my direct debit after this month.

    Hi BK10

    Unfortunately we're unable to deal with cancellation requests here on the forum however I've checked your account and currently it's not scheduled to be cancelled - You can do this with our cancellations team by contacting customer care on 1905.

    However, if you wish to move to another provider, you can do so now, BK10. You're out of contract at the moment so no cancellation fees will apply. The port request must be made correctly from the other network before the number can be released, i.e. you're coming from a 'single-line, bill pay account'. If the port is requested for any other type of account it won't be successful.

    Please note that response time on the forum can be up to 24hours.
